1. Around the Corner
Around the Corner is a forgotten classic, but a crowd-pleasing and satisfying trick to do!
How to do it:
- Throw a strong sleeper and position your throw elbow in front of the string.
- Pinch the string with your throw hand and tug up to pop the yoyo up.
- The pop should naturally pop up and over your elbow in one motion!
1. Loops (x3 repetitions)
Looping tricks always look impressive, especially when you can do more than one in a row. With the Spinstar’s responsive design, landing three clean loops with the right wrist movement can be easily achieveable. It just takes a little practice!
Tips: Keep your arm strong and secure when performing loops. Only use your wrist to flick outwards with each loop motion to easily repeat the movement three times.

3. Rocket to the Pocket
This twist on the classic Skyrocket trick ends with a smooth pocket catch — stylish and satisfying when it lands in your pocket.
Tip: Wear loose fitting pants with pockets to make the yoyo land inside easier.
How to do it:
- Start with a sleeper, gently take the slip knot off of your finger, then toss the string and yoyo up.
- Once the yoyo is returning down from its initial launch, open your pocket and try to position your leg inwards.
- With some practice, try to land the yoyo in your pocket.
Tip: Be careful with this trick. We recommend doing this in an area with carpet or a softer landing to avoid your yoyo hitting the ground hard if it misses your pocket.
