The World Yoyo Contest 2025 in Prague has gone down as one of the best yoyo contests ever. Hundreds of players and fans around the world attended the event from August 7th-10th in the capital of the Czech Republic. It was a celebration of competition and community.
The results? Nothing short of historic. Let’s recap what happened!
The spotlight of this year’s contest once again belonged to Mir Kim, who secured his third consecutive 1A World Championship title. His freestyle routine combined the world’s most difficult yoyo tricks with flawless execution and a world-class stage presence.
For fans and collectors, YoYoFactory has released a series of new Miracle yoyos to celebrate this incredible achievement.
Another major highlight came from Hunter Feuerstein, who claimed the 2nd place spot in the 1A Division behind Mir Kim with a bold and high-energy routine inspired by rock and metal music. Hunter used his signature yoyo, the Starlight! With its larger size and bimetal design, it’s the perfect throw for players looking to have the spotlight shane on stage.
Beyond the top placing podium winners, several other YoYoFactory players made their mark on the Worlds 2025 stage with standout freestyles.
Miri Kim placed 8th in the 1A World Championship Division, while also claiming her third consecutive Women’s Freestyle title, an incredible double achievement!
Toya Kobayashi impressed with an 11th place finish in his first-ever 1A Finals, showcasing his signature MOZ with style and precision.
Another first-time finalist, Kris Toledo, earned 17th place throwing his newest signature model, the Brillo.
Artistic Award Winner for the Artistic Performance Division was won by Unbound’s Vashek Kroutil and Barbora Onderkova! This captivating performance is a must-see.
